Article summary

This step in the order process is used to produce a quick receipt based on clothing type, allowing the customers to leave the store quickly and have a date and time to expect to retrieve their garments. This step is optional; it is possible to start an order at Detail. In this article, we will discuss how to perform a Quick in both Spot and Connect.

Spot

1. Perform the Quick.

  1. From the Spot home page, click Quick or press 1 on your keyboard.

  2. Search for the customer by typing in the Lookup Value box. The most common search criteria are customer name or phone number. Use these guidelines based on what you are searching by:

    1. Name: Begin with the customer's last name.

    2. Phone number: Begin typing the 10-digit number.

  3. Select the Department.

  4. Select the correct amount of items for the customer and the due date if needed.

2. Provide the tickets.

Once completed, two items will print by default:

  • The bag ticket/quick ticket. This should be placed in the bag with the customer's clothes as it will be used to quickly identify the customer during the Detail session.

  • The customer claim check. This should be given to the customer who will use this claim check at pickup.

Connect

  1. Search for the customer.

  2. Click Quick.

  3. Choose the visit details such as adjustments, coupons, or comments.

  4. Choose the destination. You can choose whether this item will be picked up at this store, at another store, or delivery. Whichever options your store has available will be listed here. ‘This Store’ is the default destination unless the customer is a delivery customer.

  5. Choose the department that the item falls within. The next items won’t populate until you choose a department.

  6. Choose the due date. You can choose to rush an order or choose a different date from the calendar option if the standard dates aren’t what your customer wants.

  7. Choose the number of items that will be included in this Quick.

  8. Confirm that the Quick looks correct and click Finish.

  9. Choose the type of receipt that your customer wants.
