Report Finder

The Report Finder is a tool that allows you to search for different reports and view examples of them. The Report Finder can help you determine which reports you can run to collect the different information you need. In this article, we will discuss how to find and use the Report Finder.

Finding the Report Finder

There are two ways to access the Report Finder:

• In Spot, go to Reports > Reports Gallery > View Reports Browser. This option is located in the bottom left corner of Reports Gallery.

• Go directly to this link: https://www.spotpos.com/report-finder.

Using the Report Finder

Search for a term that is related to the report you want to create. It's a best practice to use 1 or 2 search terms instead of full sentences. The results are displayed in a table with three columns:

• Collection: The folder in the Reports Gallery in which the report resides

• Name: The name of the report exactly as it appears in the Report Gallery

• Description: A brief explanation of what data is returned when running the report
