Article summary

When it comes to holidays, every company has their own unique schedule. In Connect you can manage your route schedules with your holiday profiles. In this article, we will discuss how to manage holiday route rules for your service plans in Delivery Connect.

1. Assign holiday schedules

  1. In Spot, create a holiday schedule for each route that you want to manage.

  2. Assign a holiday schedule to each Service Plan that you want to manage.

2. Enable holiday profile settings

  1. Proceed based on whether you have access to Connect:

    • Yes: In the bottom left corner, click on the Settings gear, then click Holidays.

    • No: From the Help Center, select Holidays.

  2. Select the Holiday Profile that you want to manage. The Holiday Profile is the same as the Holiday Schedule you created in Spot.

  3. Enable every holiday in the Holiday List that you want to manage for this profile. If a holiday is disabled, it won't be recognized as a holiday and the settings won't apply to it. You can enable or disable all of the holidays with the All Holidays switch or you can toggle the switches individually for each holiday.

3. Manage individual holiday settings

  1. Select the specific holiday that you want to manage.

  2. Choose whether you want these settings to apply to all stop types, or if you want to manage each stop type individually. The different stop types are:

    • Single Customer

    • Multi-Customer

    • Hotel

    • Locker

  3. Select how you want to treat this holiday. The options are:

    • Skip: The delivery will be skipped and added to the next scheduled delivery.

    • Visit: The delivery will go through as scheduled, even though it is a holiday.

    • Shift date to: Choose a specific date that you want to complete this route.

  4. Click Save.
