With our Help Center in Connect, we make it easy for you to manage your mobile device license and access the Support Portal to create or manage your cases.
You can get to the Help Center from both Spot and Connect.
Connect: Click the question mark in the bottom left panel of the window.
Spot: Click Help > Support Portal.
Once you're in the Help center, you can choose Cases, Licenses, What's New, or Store.
Cases
The cases screen brings you to the Support Portal. It shows you all of your historical support cases with Spot and allows you to create a new case or comment on an open case. To learn more about Support Portal, go here.
Licenses
The Licenses screen shows you all devices that are currently or have ever been associated with a license. First, choose the service you want to view the licenses for. Then a list of devices will appear. Each device will show the following:
Name: The name of the device
Type: The type of device (iPhone, Samsung, etc.)
Status: Whether the device is licensed, previously licensed, or blocked
Last Online: The last time the device used the app
If a device is currently licensed, you can choose to either revoke or block the license.
Revoke: When you revoke a license, it removes the license from a device so that you can use that license on a different device.
Block: When you block a device, the license is removed from a device and that device is blocked from your account. This feature is particularly useful if you need to block a device before you can disable a user's credentials. Once a device is blocked, it can't be unblocked.
