Single and Batch A/R Payments

Gathering payment for your A/R accounts is vital to the success of your business. Here you can learn how to make payments on your schedule. There are several ways to make A/R payments. Single and multiple payments are the most common.
From the Spot home page, select the A/R tab.
Select 'Apply Payments' or press 3 on your keyboard.
Choose Single or Multiple Payments. Select the corresponding option to view the next steps:
Multiple Payments
Click 'Auto Payments.'
Highlight the stores you want to include, then choose the payment date.
Select the customer accounts for applying payments.
Select a 'Tender Type' for each customer.
Use the guidelines below for the different buttons:
New and Remove: Use the New and Remove buttons to add or remove a single customer from the list.
Apply Adjustment: Add adjustments to an individual customer.
Payment with Details: Enter the single payment screen for the selected customer.
Once you have completed all of the changes, select the Post Payments button. After a confirmation, you will have completed all your payments!
Single Payments
Go to the Look Up Customer screen. Under the 'Lookup Value', begin typing the last name of your customer or choose from one of the other 'Lookup Field' options on the left.
Select what invoices or adjustments you want to be a part of the transaction. Then select the tender type that you want to use.
Click 'Post Payment' to apply the payment.
